Julia Twyman discovered a letter written by her husband to his parents in 1936 from HMS Worcester in which he mentions his time aboard Captain Steele's yawl 'Katrine'

She has presented the letter to Peter Butler, the current owner of 'Katrine' for the archive that he is collecting, relating to 'Katrine's 'past. He was really delighted to add it to his collection. 'Katrine' celebrated her 100th birthday in 2010 and it would be lovely to collect some more snippets of her Worcester history and present them for this important milestone in her history.

Julia has sailed on 'Katrine' herself in recent years and she would be happy to take on the task of collating any information available. Julia has been a staunch supporter of the Yacht Club for many years, Photographing the Yacht Club events and collating them into Albums.

In Julia's letter to me she wrote:-
Gentlemen please help me collect a few more stories about this lovely yawl. - Don't think that would be a good idea and then forget to contact me !
